How do I Order?

You need TexasCHL.hlp if:

  • You're thinking about a concealed handgun license, and you want to know what you're getting into.
  • You took the class in 1996, and a review wouldn't hurt.
  • You need to know what changed as of September 1, 1997.
  • You are allowed reciprocity with Texas, and you need to know the Texas rules.

What's Included?

All four state mandated subjects, including:

  • The laws that relate to weapons and to the use of deadly force, including the 1997 revisions.
  • Handgun use, proficiency, and safety.
  • Nonviolent dispute resolution.
  • Proper storage practices for handguns with emphasis on storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child.

How Do I Use It?

Order TexasCHL.hlp Online.

Simply copy the help file (less than one megabyte) to your hard disk or a diskette. Double click to open TexasCHL.hlp. Navigation instructions are included in the file if you need them, but the program uses buttons and links just like the web or a help file. TexasCHL.hlp is completely indexed and searchable.
